HTML validator options

You can adjust the checking by selecting the quick or advanced version.
The different items to be checked can be adjusted individually:

Standard check

• Removes invalid elements from the HTML code.

• Removes empty or single "<" and ">" (tags).
   

Extended check

• Looks for invalid attribute names.

• Looks for wrong positioned HTML tags.

• Looks for faulty end tags </tag>

Under HTML version, you can view which contents the program regards as correct or faulty for each HTML tag. Select HTML version or script file as guideline (for current browser, we recommend HTML_4).
