Querying search services

After having selected the search services, you can start the query in the Ranking/Query program section. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. If not already displayed, open the Query program section by clicking Ranking/Query in the navigation bar.

  2. In the Number of threads field, enter the number of threads to be activated simultaneously for the query.

  3. In the Max. matches field, specify the number of matches to scan.

  4. Click Start to start the query.

  5. You are then automatically brought to the Report  section.

  6. First you can make any settings for the report on the Settings tab.

  7. Then click the Report tab to view the report.

  8. From the Reports history window, select a previous report to display. This way you can compare all the previous queries.

  9. By clicking the Positions button, you can view the Positions history. A diagram displaying the changes of the history is displayed.
